What is GetActive.ie?
GetActive.ie is an exciiting new comprehensive online sport, health and fitness community. With all the functionality of other social networking sites our additional features such as our activities and events directories really set us apart. Our members include not only individuals but also organisations, clubs, schools, qualified professionals among others allowing for a free flow of information. Members can utilise a range of free services such as post up activities, events, sought activities, host their own forum and submit news articles.

How much does it cost?
Membership
Membership for GetActive.ie is completely free and registration is easy. All you need is a valid and working email address and you can register withing minutes.
Activities/Events/Sought Activities/Forum/News
Activity, event, and sought activity postings are all completely free. Also, you get to host your own forum and post you own news items completely free too.
Recruitment Postings
Your first recruitment posting is free and any subsequent posting costs €80. This is a flat rate per posting and lasts until the job is filled.

How do I register?
Registration couldn't be easier it is a quick and easy process. All you need is a valid and working email address.
Firstly, complete the registration form, making sure to fill the required fields.
Secondly, you will be sent an email once your registration form has been successfully submitted. Sign in to your email account and click on the link provided.
Thirdly, login to GetActive.ie on the confirmation page and that's it! You will then be a member of GetActive.ie - the active community!

What is the member name?
Your member name is a unique name that identifies you or your organisation on the GetActive.ie website. It should be something easy to remember and user friendly. Your own personal GetActive.ie web address will be www.getactive.ie/yourmembername. This web address will send people directly to your profile.

What is my profile?
Your profile is essentially your own webpage. It contains contact details about yourself and/or your organisation. Within your own micorsite you can list your activities and events along with managing your own personal web forum and create news articles. You can use your profile as you primary website or a gateway to your existing independent website.
