The Volleyball Association of Ireland and CUSAI will once again be running the successful Colleges and Universities Volleyball League for all Irish third level institutions during the 08/09 volleyball season / academic year.

Divisions will be regionalised, as far as possible, to decrease travel costs. In order to maximize the number of games being played in the league, each division will be operated on a blitz basis. Each team will host a round of the league where all teams will play up to two fixtures.

The dates for each round shall be set by the organising committee in consultation with the host college.

Host teams must identify the preferred day & time for hosting their round within the allocated timeframe. Facilities, in terms of number of courts and available time, must be adequate to cater for up to 6 fixtures to be played.

Closing date for entries is Monday, 6th October 2008 . The entry fee is €75 per team. Colleges wishing to enter more than one team will be subject to a €50 fee per additional team. Each squad shall consist of 12 registered players.

Registration procedure of players will be circulated once application form and entry fee is submitted. Non CUSAI Member institutions will have to pay an additional CUSAI competition affiliation fee of €150.
